Welcome...

The Hertford Music Club was founded in 1940 by Thomas Barber to promote music in Hertford. Meeting at the world's oldest Friends Meeting House still in use, we stage and host a wide variety of live classical concerts from both local and world renowned artists.

Please enjoy your visit to our website; the best place to find out about live classical music in Hertfordshire's historic county town.

We look forward to seeing you again in October.

Our New Piano makes a Grand entrance...

At 11.30 on Thursday 7th May, Hertford Music Club bade a tearful farewell to an old friend of many years - the Steinway upright.

And we gave a warm welcome to the 6' Yamaha grand, all shiny and a mere 20 years old as opposed to the Steinway which was over 100 years old!
