Celebrating 21 years together performing klezmer & folk music from Eastern Europe & the Balkans, She’Koyokh plays Jewish and traditional dance tunes, ballads and love songs out of the villages and mountains of Poland, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Greece &, Turkey. Bitter-sweet, virtuosic, soulful arrangements reflect the incredible diversity of Europe, the history of migration, and the musical contact that has taken place across social and political boundaries over hundreds of years. She’Koyokh is a Yiddish word meaning “nice one!”
