January 19
We strike new territory with a recital for Accordion and Violin. A truly eclectic program is in store with composers, Bach, Vivaldi, Arvo Part, rubbing shoulders with Piazzolla, Bartok and, no doubt some folksy items!

February 16
Young baritone Ben Watkins will present the entire song cycle – Die Schöne Müllerin by Schubert. Worry not about the language because full text will be provided Expect visitors from London to witness this – a very special event. This music is full of beauty and grief and some of the composer’s best music.

March 15
The Ensemble Mirage will perform two of the most important chamber works:- The clarinet quintets by Mozart and Brahms….. What’s a splendid way to finish the current programme.

The next season will be The 80th anniversary of the Club and also the 350th anniversary of the Quaker Meeting House. Book these dates in your diary:
- October 25th The Quakers anniversary concert to feature a quartet of Viols – contemoray music of that period – the late 17th century – a rich source for music. Henry Purcell, Orlando Gibbons and their vocal music
- November 15th / 22nd – Alexander Ardakov piano will help us celebrate our 80th anniversary with a programme of spectacular repertoire for which he is well known in our town.
