Alexandra Vaduva

Romanian-born pianist, Alexandra Vaduva started playing the piano at the age of 4 with the teacher Doina Olteteanu. Since then she has won numerous national and international piano competitions, such as the first prize at the “Vienna International Piano Competition”, second prize at “Orpheus Young Musician of the Year” contest, third prize at the “Beethoven Piano Competition”, second prize at the “Sterndale Bennett Piano Competition”, first prizes at the “Pro Piano” and “Carl Filtsch” International Piano Competitions and many more.

Alexandra’s concert programme will include:

• Scarlatti – Sonatas
• Schumann – Scenes from Childhood Opus 15
• Bartok – Suite op. 14
• Enescu , Schubert – Impromptu Opus 90 in Eb
• Beethoven – “Moonlight” Sonata
